Subjective Realities are currently collecting short films for their first independent film & video DVD showcase. We intend to release the DVD in 2011, and we want it to feature some of the most original shorts from around the country.

The only criteria is that the film must have been produced completely independently of any funding bodies. That doesn't mean your mates can't have thrown you a few squids. But if you've been given money from the arts council (for example) then great, but it's not independent is it? The aim isn't to be needlessly purist, we just want to give the people who haven't had that extra production-value-push a chance to get their work seen in another way.

We're still working out the finances of it, trying to figure out if it's best to all pool together to get it produced , then split the profits (if there are any). Or whether we put all the money in and you pay a small fee to have your work included.
